UBO

Counting seconds. The duration of silence between crashes. The rhythm of the sea: peak and trough, before the foamy collapse of bass on granite stone. To be carried away, as a boat on the ocean. The composer Ravel was from Ciboure and to him, each spot on the coast had its own rhythm. A white musical note, and two black, repeating.

As a retreat for introspection, a cocoon, UBO creates a new space: one as well suited for personal contemplation as musical composition.
